Anthony Luvera

Socially Engaged Artist and Associate Professor, Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities, Coventry University

Anthony Luvera is a socially engaged artist, writer and educator based in London. His work is the product of long-term collaborations with both individuals and communities, and has been exhibited at venues including Tate Liverpool, the British Museum, National Portrait Gallery London, Belfast Exposed, Australian Centre for Photography, PhotoIreland, Malmö Fotobiennal, Goa International Photography Festival, Les Rencontres D’Arles Photographie, and Landskrona Foto Festival.

Anthony is Chair of the Education Committee at the Royal Photographic Society. He has developed education and mentorship programmes, workshops and lectures at the National Portrait Gallery, Tate, Magnum, Royal Academy of Arts, The Photographers’ Gallery, Photofusion, and Barbican Art Gallery.
