Ben Malcolmson

Ben came to Belfast Exposed as a freelance Exhibition Assistant and has been appointed as Assistant Curator, while studying for his BA in Photography with Video at the Ulster University he also studied in The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague on his exchange year, focusing on his photographic and technical development. Ben graduated in June 2021 and is based in Northern Ireland for the foreseeable future developing his curatorial practice at Belfast Exposed under the mentorship from Deirdre Robb. Specialising in Lightroom and Photoshop he also teaches Level 3, Documentary Photo and Street Photography, among various facilitation in the Belfast Exposed youth-oriented programmes, such as Academy and Young Futures developing photographic skills with young people.
