Kate Goodwin

2nd Year MSc Art Psychotherapy Student

Kate is currently involved in a CHOICE (Challenging Health Outcomes/ integrating Care Environments) research project which will establish a community partnership to co-produce innovative arts-based approaches to tackling social exclusion and reducing the health inequalities experienced by people living with mental health challenges. The project with be using the Photovoice method which will give the participants the opportunity to tell their stories through photography. She will also be Co-facilitating a walking studio called 'Capturing and Preserving' with two colleagues on Tuesday 4th of April. The walking studio will be an opportunity to become a wayfarer along the streets and entries (alleyways) near Belfast Exposed. Each participant will capture their experiences through photographs that respond to the word healing within the context of urban spaces requiring care and restoration. Participants will also record the sounds and list the words that document their routes of discovery.
