Chief Executive, Visual Artists Ireland
Noel Kelly is Chief Executive Officer of Visual Artists Ireland. In this role he has undertaken extensive advocacy in the area of The Social, Economic and Fiscal Status of the Visual Artist in Ireland, including payment guidelines for artists, social welfare, and developing supports and services dedicated to the improvement of job opportunities for visual artists. His most recent works concentrates on the role of ESG measurement in the cultural sector, the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the visual arts, and the development of infrastructural supports. Kelly is a former board/council member of Culture Action Europe, AICA International, The Royal Dublin Society, and other non-profits. He is an Industry Specialist for Creative UK (formerly The Creative Industries Federation) and is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce.
