The Healing Through Photography Conference is the first of its kind in the UK. The conference aims to examine and share knowledge of the use of photography to support those experiencing mental health.
It is an ambitious programme of keynote speakers, artist talks, exhibitions, workshops, public art and photography walks. To help realise this we are looking to form a first-class team of volunteers to help us set up and deliver the Conference.
The Conference's success relies on the enthusiasm and hard work of committed volunteers. Belfast Exposed offers volunteers the invaluable experience of working with internationally renowned photographers, photographic professionals and offers the camaraderie of being part of an international experience.
Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th April 2023
Belfast Exposed photography will provide training, support and a reference to help your future career. Previous volunteers, who excelled in their roles by showing passion and dedication, have been employed by a number of arts related organisations including Belfast Exposed.
Volunteers can gain experience with:
Exhibition installation / de-installation
Administration and marketing
Documentation (photographing, filming and editing)
Stewarding / invigilating events
Assisting artists and keynote Speakers and VIP's
We will make every effort to offer a range of experience and match individuals where possible to particular areas of interest. We are interested in volunteers from all backgrounds and sections of the community.
Join our team and become an integral part of Northern Ireland's leading photograph organisation and help deliver this innovative and important conference.
